Job Description Summary
The principal role of the Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for all aspects of order fulfillment. Coordinate customer orders and production plans/schedules to achieve on time delivery and factory requested ship date, arrange shipments according to orders corroborated with shipping team. Fully proficient professional, contributes to projects and initiatives, influences at the site level and determines and executes to operational standards and processes, and requires understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures. Ensuring that internal customer’s needs are met and that company policy and international trade compliance regulations are adhered to.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Primary contact for global affiliates in reference to the logistics process
Investigate new orders for production, capacity, configuration errors, and any other potential problems
Monitor and track open order status through production, shipping, and delivery
Daily communication w/poles for order escalations
Releasing all International orders from distribution & manufacturing to freight forwarders
Manage on time delivery performance for the assigned line, including identifying potential defects and scheduling actions for improvement to ensure timely resolution and improve on-time shipment performance as well as reporting on delivery performance to the site and global fulfillment team
Responsible for timely, accurate and complete record keeping
Ensuring all processes and documentation are in accordance with GEHC & Export compliance requirements
Lead service/cost optimization projects
Using OTM (Oracle Transportation Management System) and logistics expertise to utilize the optimum mode of transport for shipments
Required Qualifications
Experience working in a cross functional, highly matrixed environment
Experience working with and effectively building rapport at all levels within an organization.
Proven experience with influencing others without a direct supervisory relationship
Ability to communicate using English
Desired Characteristics
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Materials or Supply Chain Management (or related field) plus a minimum of 2 years’ experience in distribution/operations/supply chain or order management (Or High School Diploma plus 6 years’ experience in distribution/operations/supply chain or order management)Minimum of 3 years of operational logistics, import/export and/or customs expertise.
Solid communication and analytical skills, including experience with communicating with others from different counties and cultures.
Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within the organization
Proven ability to execute, multi-task, and deliver on commitments
Experience working in a compliant supply chain
Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
Oracle order management experience.

Ensures the creation of accurate, complete and timely records and DHRs
