General Electric System Integration Specialist - High Acuity Care in Helsinki, Finland

GE Healthcare’s Digital team in Helsinki is looking for a new System Integration Specialist. Are you interested to lead the integration work for High Acuity Care products focusing on anesthesia, intensive care and operation room management? You will be analyzing customer requirements, designing solutions, driving integration solutions to closure and supporting and maintaining the solution.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Planning, coordination and execution of European wide system integration of High Acuity Care products with different communication systems like Hospital Information systems, Billing systems, Inventory Management systems, Laboratory systems, Electronic Health Record systems etc.

  • Work directly with Healthcare customers and third parties on the development of the hospital workflow and interface environment

  • Work to solve incidents and challenges related to existing customer environments

  • Close collaboration with the country specific functions such as sales, project management, application specialists and technical service

  • Close collaboration with global functions such as engineering, product management and marketing

  • Develop and improve interface tools, products, processes and services offerings

  • Design and build databases and logic like stored procedures for tools that support the high acuity workflows

  • Create, update and improve database cubes and complex statements for reports and statistics

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, and relevant experience in Software Engineering or equivalent

  • Experience with industry standards like HL7, XML, XSD, XSLT, Codepage encoding / conversion and Base64 encoding

  • Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, FTP, SFTP, SOAP and RESTful Web Services

  • Knowledge of configuring interface engines ideally Orion-Health Rhapsody

  • Knowledge in Databases and SQL (scripting, stored procedures etc.)

  • Experience in JavaScript, PowerShell and scripting languages like Python

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Problem resolution and creativity in solution development

  • Strong customer focus

  • Fluent in Finnish, both written and spoken

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

  • Valid driving license

  • The system integration projects will mainly be managed remotely but travelling to customers may be required from time to time (10% to 30% depending on the market situation)
