Job Description Summary
General Electric Gas Power Services Account Manager – Finland (Scandinavia) and the Baltics.
The General Electric Gas Power Services Account Manager is instrumental in owning, managing and developing our relationship and opportunity pipeline with specific accounts and sites, with deliverables measured against both financial and non-financial targets. The Account Manager position resides within the North Europe Inquiry-to-Requisition (ITR) organisation, which is responsible for the entire life cycle of our customer interactions.

Roles and Responsibilities
Within the specified geographic area and/or with specified accounts, the Gas Power Services Account Manager is responsible for the oversight of GE's relationship with our customers, and ultimately for selling product(s), services, parts, solutions, or projects into those accounts
The role is measured against a variety of customer, process and financial metrics
The individual works with an ITR mindset, and closely collaborates with all stakeholders throughout the ITR lifecycle to ensure Orders are executable in a safe and timely manner
Account Managers have specialised knowledge of the latest commercial developments in their own area of responsibility, and has the communication skills to influence others. The role contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensures delivery within own area of responsibility.
The Account Manager has a working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate GE in the market
It's critical to have the ability to use judgment to make decisions, solve complex tasks and problems within the customer relationship lifecycle.
The successful candidate uses commercial and technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
Account Managers must be able to clearly articulate difficult or sensitive information; and work to build consensus.
Required Qualifications
This role requires significant experience in Account Management and/or Sales and/or customer relationship management, including offer development and negotiation.
A working knowledge of Gas Power technology together with our products, services and sales tools is highly beneficial.
Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Written and spoken fluency with English is required. Finnish is highly desirable.
Desired Characteristics
Solid ITR (ITO + OTR) mindset, with customer service at the center
Strong oral and written communication skills, together with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems; lead programs / projects.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Experience in the Scandinavian and Baltic energy and/or industrial markets
