We want you to become Team Leaders/Experts for when we launch in late 2022, likely to spend first months commuting to France to assimilate into our team and the GE Renewables business and importantly learn the new Haliade - X.
Roles and Responsibilities:
During preparation phase:
Support and supervise all the activities related to Mechanical Electrical completion in the HUB logistic area.
Support the M&E engineer on RAMS review and potential improvement on the work instructions.
Tooling and spare parts preparation to bring offshore related with M&E activities.
Support quality inspectors during Tower Pre-assembly for M&E activities.
Small troubleshooting for M&E tools and systems.
During offshore works:
Overall responsible person for the Mechanical Electrical completion works in the wind turbine.
Validate and coordinate the works of the WTG technicians to ensure the contractual M&E obligations.
Anticipate and communicate any roadblock that we face and ask support from back office and project team.
Communicate with Client Representative and Vessels Manager.
Review and approve Daily Progress report of the M&E teams.
Supervise the Mechanical Electrical activities on daily basis
Manage offshore works to minimize GE’s exposure on LD’s and look for opportunities during M&E execution
Troubleshoot different systems in the wind turbine to ensure M&E activities can proceed.
Supervise the M&E activities from the installation Vessel or SOV.
Use of Service Max software to dispatch work orders for M&E teams offshore.
Use of Fieldwork software to control, correct and validate checklists of M&E method statement.
Follow the handover between installation and M&E phases, turbine inspections, preservations, preassembly, punch list check-up.
Promote GE EHS culture during operations
Technical degree education or equivalent work experience required in electrical M&E.
Experienced in Wind business or similar.
Experienced in electrical systems.
Experienced in reading electrical drawings.
Experienced in troubleshooting systems.
Good knowledge in mechanical systems.
Good communication skills to share knowledge about M&E method statements.
Fluent in English both spoken and written.
PC knowledge of Microsoft applications as well as industrial and management software.
Ability to secure quality assurance and environmental processes.
Able to work at heights, Helicopter transfers, Vessel transfers.
Ability to work offshore (Offshore medical certificate, Sea Survival, Wind Turbine full rescue course)
Proven ability to lead and work in a team and contractors’ environment.
Knowledge in Service Max software
Organized and transparent
Good communication skills, high flexibility
Able to work within a multicultural team
