Role Summary:

We are looking for a visible, interactive, trusted partner to drive the HR agenda for GE Healthcare Digital in the West Coast. This role will provide client support to 250 employees and managers in Seattle (WA) and San Ramon (CA). Essential Responsibilities:

This role will support managers and their teams and will focus on aligning people strategies/programs to current and future business needs in areas such as talent and performance management, organization design/expansion, leadership/high potential development, recruiting, retention/morale programs, etc.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive the employee experience by coaching leaders to hire, inspire, develop and retain talent

  • Partner with various HR Managers and stakeholders across multiple client groups

  • Collaborate within in the eco-system of HR peers including Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning and Learning & Development

  • Be the first point of contact for managers and employees, driving and executing organizational, talent and cultural transformations associated with building a world-class organization

  • Aligns performance management and reward strategies to drive and reinforce a culture of high performance and innovation with and across the business groups

  • Advise managers on employee relations related issues to ensure consistent, transparent application of policies and practices; own investigations when needed

  • Coach managers to ensure team priorities are laser focused on-strategy and drive customer success

  • Engage with employees regularly to become an expert of our people and the way they work in order to create best in class working experiences

  • Drive employee development: coach managers to create meaningful, personalized development plans

  • Influence hiring to ensure we continue to hire world-class IT employees with industry-leading capabilities

  • Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment

  • Conduct HR support for functional processes like Performance Development, Compensation Planning, New Employee Orientation and New Manager Assimilation

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in related area

  • Minimum 3 years prior professional work experience

  • HR experience within software/tech industry

  • Excellent oral/written communication and listening skills; presentation skills

  • Strong service orientation

  • Ability to quickly build relationships and credibility with leaders and employees

  • Self-motivated and assertive; ability to navigate complex or ambiguous environments, get answers and autonomously drive solutions

  • Ability to be flexible and nimble within a changing organization

  • Must possess strong change management skills

  • Comfortable with high volume workload and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to build strong partnerships with all functions within our people organization

  • Provide leadership and guidance to implement core HR policies, programs and practices necessary to drive business objectives

  • Ability to partner with and coach managers to deliver high performing teams
