Primary Responsibilities:
This role will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for Hangzhou site. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and has the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Drive continuous improvement and operationalization of EHS programs, procedures, and tools to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GE CEP/Business-level requirements and GE Best Practices
Ensure business growth by guding risk mitigation and EHS productivity enhancements, leveraging across operations at the site
Vigorously guide /drive EHS operationalization and accountability to all employees
Promote and sustain a positive EHS culture at all levels of the organization
Guide and promote implementation of GE security policies at the facility
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local team, community and regulators
Support the business in due diligence and new business acquisitions identifying potential risk
Conduct and enforce regular EHS review, risk assessments & audits onsite and cross-sites
Identify and guide the delivery of applicable EHS training to employees.
Supervise, coach and develop EHS personnel
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental or Occupational Safety and health field or equivalent EHS leadership experience
8+ years of experience in an Environment, Health and Safety discipline at multinational companies is preferred
Knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements
Fluent oral and written English skill
Strong thoughtful, leadership, interpersonal, communication, presentation skills, and results oriented.
Desired:
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues with coomplex priorities
Six Sigma Greenbelt trained/certified.
