General Electric SERVICE EHS Leader M/F in Hamburg, Germany

Role Summary:The EHS SERVICE Leader is coordinating EHS activities for the Operations and Maintenance Phase including ITO phase for service turbine agreement. He will be responsible for the implementation of the EHS needs from the different stakeholders (internal and external) and to ensure that required EHS deliverables are in place and on time.

Essential Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities are the following:

• Identify and Gather product EHS requirements from the different stakeholder (internal and external);

• Lead the EHS Requirements implementation throughout services ;

• Support and coordinate internal stakeholders for on time deliveries to meet customer and market expectation;

• Be the interface with Customers and Authorities to all Service EHS matters;

• Support and Coach Organization to drive risk to ALARP level;

• Define EHS governance with internal stakeholders to capture needs, define EHS deliverables timeline and clarify roles and responsibilities;

• Implement Management of Change process to Service phase;

• Provide support and capture needs from the sites for smooth execution at the different stages;

• Technologies intelligence to drive continuous implementation.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent in EHS sciences or engineering;

• Very strong combined experience in EHS;

• Deep knowledge of Wind Offshore EHS Standards and Best Practices;

• Proven experience in leading safety across design, supply chain, project and services;

• Delivers clear direction, disciplined timelines and coordinated schedules; manages communication mechanisms and review processes

• Ability to work in a matrix environment, influence and motivate teams to achieve unified goals;

• Proven skills in interfacing effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as outside, including contractors, suppliers, customers and regulatory agencies;

• Team player, able to create an environment of trust within the team and with the broader organization;

• Critical thinker, and always seeks for relevant information and intelligence, analyzes and interprets them to produce innovative solutions to problems;

• Ability to handle multi-site and multi-business responsibility – management of time and ability to prioritize independently;

• Fluent in English, other language is a plus.
