General Electric Demand Planning Leader - MI in Haifa, Israel
Job Description Summary
This Demand Planning Leader is responsible for the forecast management of Molecular Imaging (MI) Purchase for Stock and Hybrid CTs, as well as leading the PET sales & order execution (S&OE) process and support handoff from planning to manufacturing execution. In this position, you will plan and schedule material forecasts for over 500 parts across system/feeder plants and with global supplier base as well as partner with MI Global Demand Planner and MICT SBU team to align MICT requirements and customer expectations. This role will need to partner with SBU, RBU, and Manufacturing teams to understand product strategy, NPI, demand management patterns, and supply consumption. You will be responsible for defining and leading standard work across the Planning organization and sharing best practices with key organizational stakeholders.

Lead MI planning for parts across system & feeder sites, accounting for PSI system forecast, NPI/product roadmap, service/upgrades, and aligned to SBU inventory/fulfillment strategy.
Lead PET S&OE process: S&OP handoff into order execution, site readiness requirements, order configurations
Own and lead consolidation of CT Hybrid demand into CT Demand Planning team to ensure alignment on CT availability for MI.
Lead consolidation of NM and CT shipments for NUC hybrid products
Measure, report, and drive improvements to forecast accuracy.
Monitoring and analysis of sales history, reporting of forecast changes and drivers. Measuring and analyzing regional key performance indicators and derive clear actions from it.
Track and analyze regional supply performance and take leadership in exceptions management.
Partner with manufacturing sites to improve inventory and find/correct root causes of slow- moving stock.
Collaborate with other Demand Planners/Materials professionals in other modalities, GEHC data science team, and the planning and materials COE’s, to develop future process improvements. This may include advanced techniques in AI/machine-learning, or automated or exception-based planning.
Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.
Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
Bachelors degree and at least 3 years supply chain experience or HS Diploma and 6 years supply chain experience
Experience in Oracle (GLPROD) and ASCP or similar ERP system (SAP, JD Edwards, etc)
Experience in at least one of the following: Materials, OTR/Fulfillment, Sourcing, Logistics
A passion for Planning, and problem solving with continuous improvement
Ability to communicate and modify style from hands-on entry level training to executive summaries
Ability to drive and measure impact that improves Customer and GE outcomes
Ability to lead AWO's and CAP with Materials teams
Ability to quickly learn a technical system, and then instruct others
Strong proficiency managing large data sets and systems problem solving
Buyer, MCC, Order Fulfillment Leader, or Master Scheduler experience in Demantra or equivalent.
Experience using statistical forecasting
Strong Lean tool kit
Global experience as an individual contributor, leading & influencing people on other teams.
APICS or other professional certification programs
