The Reliability Software and Analytics Technical Leader will lead and mentor our cross functional team of software and analytics developers to execute and deliver within an Agile based process. This individual will ensure our software and analytic development process delivers timely, high quality business solutions.
Job Description
This technical leader position is a cross functional technical leadership role for our global engineering development team, working within an Agile development framework. This technical leader will interface with and support digital/IT teams to align efforts where required. Support digital/IT by guiding technical contractors and helping to align standards.
Serve as an expert resource to our engineering development team on software and analytics development planning, including full-stack development, user interface development, providing guidance on designing for performance and scalability, automated testing, and supporting architecture reviews.
Partner with global stakeholders (Digital, IT, CSE, etc.) to ensure we deliver valuable, integrated and effective solutions.
Basic Qualifications-
BS, MS, or PhD in Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years software or analytics related development experience.
Fully competent in Agile development process, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and basic statistics.
Desired Experience/Skills-
Java/Full Stack Development experience/leading a team of developers
Creating/leading a team developing features utilizing HTML/JS/etc.
Experience leading cross functional Agile development teams spread across varying functions, geographies, and cultures.
Direct experience with Python, SQL, cloud based solutions (AWS), Tableau/Spotfire, etc.
Direct experience with Github, Rally, automated testing tools, IT standards, etc.
Develop and maintain REST APIs/Services
