Job Description Summary
The Aviation Systems Talent Development team sets the strategy for the development of engineers around the globe, including the intern experience, Apprentice and Leadership programs (EEDP) and technical competency model.
The Talent Development & Training Operations Leader will focus on optimizing the operations for the department, manage US intern program, manage team key performance indicators (KPI), implement lean and standard work and assist with US Leadership program. They will partner with HR and Engineering managers throughout the business.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Will own the US Aviation Systems Engineering Intern program including recruiting strategy, partnering with the intern office, job matching, intern experience and onboarding and other duties with the program
Operationalize the department KPIs
Implement standard work with common processes
Lead the Talent Development team’s Lean journey
Assist with the Leadership Program interview process
Partner with University Relations to set strategy for University recruiting efforts
Manage electronic media for Talent Development including the websites, Yammer pages, etc.
Administration of process and approvals for Controlled Title Holder titles
Coordinate the Technical Talent Review process for the Chief Engineers Office
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, HR or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering, HR and/or Technical Learning Discipline
*Work location is flexible, will consider significant Aviation locations.

Previous experience with lean transformation and tools
Previous experience with early talent, university students and/or recruiting
Related experience within a Talent Acquisition or Recruitment role
