General Electric CF6 Program Manager in Grand Prairie, Texas

Role Summary:Responsible for facilitating transactions, producing, assembling and delivering replacement / repair parts and equipment as part of a Services agreement or order. Includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping, sometimes in a shop structure. Includes craft & non craft labor as well as manager roles responsible solely for these activities.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Diverse clients in a region

  • Contributes to plan of larger unit

  • Communicates across direct organization

  • Follows frameworks to get through the processes

  • There is room for negotiating and client specific conditions

  • Responsible for material planning and inventory metrics across a service segment

  • Monitors the results of changes to the inventory plan / forecast and recommend modifications

  • Plans for prevention of excess inventory and stock outs

  • Works with all levels of personnel (hourly, supervisory, and general foreperson) in resolving issues, tracking material availability, and advising on material usage

  • Works with customers externally and internally to identify new opportunities to improve our current processes

  • May also include, Leads Inquiry to Order (ITO) processes through Order to Remittance (OTR)

  • Delivers business sales, contribution margin, develop proposals; negotiate with customers; drive competitive pricing

  • Develops a year plan for its own department

  • Is involved in discussions with other functions and teams about improvement in processes, procedures and ways of working

  • Presents to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Services)

  • Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Materials Management, Technical Product Management, or engine overhaul shop experience
