Roles and Responsibilities:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS
Insure proper and safe operation of work area
Maintain responsibility for assigned machine
Setup machinery in accordance with engineering specifications
Perform and document required dimensional aspects within traceability software, and record keeping tasks both manual and electronic, as required
Coordinate with the shift leadership needed repairs with maintenance in accordance with standard operating and safety procedures
Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness at the work area
Manipulate loads weighing greater than 50 lbs with use of crane or other lifting devices
Follow all HS&E policies and procedures in accordance with the HS&E Management System
Ability to read and interpret routine instructions
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Ability to read and use measurement tools (micrometers, pin gauges, dial calipers)
ESSENTIAL
Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Detail oriented to accurately setup and operate machine according to engineering specifications
Excellent communication skills for communicating with shift leadership and coworkers
Possess mechanical aptitude
Preferred Qualifications :
6 months of manufacturing experience
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
