Job Description Summary

The Lean Lead Manufacturing Improvement Specialist will drive lean initiatives across the site including cross-functional projects to drive standardization, stability, and simplification. Focus on lean flow line creation, conducting action workouts (AWO’s), and leading lean culture.

Ideal candidates will have a have comprehensive knowledge of underlying principles, approaches, and lean methodology.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall Lean leadership and coaching; partner with site leadership to develop lean strategy & priorities.

• Serve as site subject matter expert in lean / Six Sigma tools and implementation

• Initiating sustainable process improvements to exceed customer expectations while using lean strategies to drive continuous process improvement

• Develop schedule and facilitate kaizen, value stream mapping sessions and activities to achieve business results.

• Drive measurable improvements in lead-time, customer delivery, productivity, and inventory.

• Prepare Lean review presentations and pitch to business leaders on Lean business reviews

• Deploy Brilliant Factory tools to improve shop operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

• Experience in Process Improvement

• Demonstrated solid performance, leadership, and experience in lean

• Proven experience in influencing, leading teams and driving change results orientation

• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated facilitation experience

Desired Skills

• Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; statistically literate and familiar with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools
