General Electric OCM/Training Specialist in Bratislava,

Role Summary:The OCM & Training specialist for Steam ERP will be responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, coordination, and facilitation of organizational change management and training activities in support of Domain Area leaders adopting new STEAM ERP system. He / She will focus on the business user side of change – including changes to adopting new systems / processes and identifying training needs.

Essential Responsibilities:The OCM & Training specialist will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact STEAM ERP business users. Expectations include leading delivery efforts for each phase of OCM; including: change impacts identification and management, journey mapping, readiness assessments, end user training management (including self-help portal and/or chat bot), end user training scheduling, user adoption tracking and management and Knowledge Transfer.

He/ She will work close to the Service Manager within the Steam ERP Team.

In this role, you will:

  • Assess OCM & training needs for deployments of STEAM ERP

  • Apply a structured methodology and lead organizational change management and training activities

  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance

  • Develop organizational change management & training plans

  • Partner with internal stakeholders regarding business training needs

  • Organize, develop or source training programs to meet specific training needs

  • Liaise with subject matter experts regarding instructional design

  • Manage training aids such as FAQs, 'how-to' documents, self-help portal, chat bot, wiki page, etc.

  • Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness

  • Track and report on training outcomes

  • Identify and assess future and current training needs

  • Participate on definition and execution of the overall Communication strategy and plan to include creating and delivery of internal and external communications, messages and supporting materials

  • Create and manage measurement system to track adoption and adjust the change management strategy and tactics as necessary


  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal

  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively

  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience leading IT organizational change in an enterprise environment

  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process

  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in dynamic situations

  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics

  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization

  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others

  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

  • Ability to drive the required organizational change given the understanding of the culture

  • Knowledge of web-based training development solutions and application of adult learning principles

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in respective country is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in Bratislava.
