General Electric Service Delivery Leader (m/f) in Glattbrugg, Switzerland

Role Summary:

The Service Delivery Leader is responsible to manage the local Service Center Logistics team and lead the service delivery processes within the country.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Service Center team and drive Customer Satisfaction through excellent execution of daily activity:

  • Coordination of daily field operations

  • Planned maintenance planning and execution

  • Customer call handling

  • FMI deployment

  • Installation resources organization

  • Drive local logistics operations:

  • Part order process and escalations

  • Part returns to warehouse

  • Field Engineers inventory management

  • Own relationship (warehousing, transportation) with local suppliers

  • Own the local Service Delivery Model and lead the deployment of new processes, tools and solutions adapting them to local needs, to drive simplification, productivity and Customer satisfaction

  • Develop and improve the remote service model for Switzerland to increase the remote efficiency of the service organization o Local point of contact for FE IT tools and new IT tool deployments

  • Drive cross modality productivity and simplification initiatives

  • Own local service delivery scorecard and drive improvements in collaboration with the ASM

  • In collaboration with local Tools champion, drive appropriate Tools operations:

  • Plan needs from Europe pool / manage logistics

  • Plan local investments in collaboration with DACH region

  • Ensure calibration compliance

  • Manage the tools and calibration budget

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Engineering or business degree with 10 years of experience

  • Prior management experience in service business

  • Strong project management and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly motivated team-player

  • Change management and process focused with the ability to drive improvements in efficiency

  • English/German speaker

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process

  • Strong understanding of digital tools and mindset

  • Prior knowledge of the healthcare industry

  • French speaker is of benefit
