Job Description Summary

The Hybrid-Propulsion team in Munich is looking for a student with a background in Electrical Power System & Aviation Engineering. The working student will support the Hybrid-Propulsion team in the field of electric power distribution system conceptual design & analysis, considering power electronics, control and energy storage integration.

Job Description

The student will be responsible for the planning, execution, and presentation of project results under the supervision of a dedicated mentor in the team. The task will involve the assessment of hybrid-electric power distribution sub-systems and its components.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Studying on the Master semesters of Electrical Engineering, preferable control system and power electronics background.

  • Knowledge of Aviation aspects for electric propulsion power distribution system.

  • Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink or PLECS

  • Proficiency in the design of control systems for DCDC converters and/or Inverters for motor control

  • Knowledge about power electronics (i.e., DC/DC converters, Battery, Inverter).

  • Ability to work in cross-functional global team in multi-cultural environments.

  • Fluency in English.
