Role Summary:

The Sr Director - Enterprise Application Engineering is responsible for the Digital Tools & Processes associated with implementation of MBD DFX (Design for MFG, Quality and Services) in conjunction of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and DCM (Digital Configuration Management) to reduce cycle time, improve quality, and reduce cost.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role, you will lead the implementation of Model Based Definition & Model Based Enterprise Roadmap for BHGE in conjunction with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and DCM (Digital Configuration Management) and other digitization initiatives to drive on-time and on-budget delivery of project solutions for our customers from proposal development through project close-out. The role is part of the BHGE Digital Engineering leadership team to:

  • Provide Project Management expertise, functional expertise and team leadership in process improvement and MBD/MBE digitization

  • Take ownership of BHGE CAD & Simulation tools, technology & roadmap

  • Understand and map business process, identify the gap for improvements, and articulate the impacts to revenue, cost, and cash flows enabled by Digitization.

  • Establish and track KPIs

  • Translate business requirements into simple, easy-to-use, digitized solutions

  • Set priorities with PLs based on business requirements and justifications.

  • Collaborate with the BHGE Product Company and Engineering HQ teams which interfaces with us for MBD/MBE

  • Collaborate with GE Digital & GRC to leverage expertise across BHGE & GE

  • Ensure compliance with and continuous improvement of business processes and standards

  • Support the development of project analytics to provide early warnings and insights into project that allow continuous improvement of business results (On Time, On Scope, On Budget)

  • Provide accurate and timely performance reports to stakeholders

Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent

  • At least 12 Years of experience in leading global teams and large-scale programs

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strategic thinker with a track record for developing innovative solutions

  • Significant experience with digitization work streams such as PLM, MBE/MBE and DCM

  • Strong communication skills

  • Experience working with Teamcenter PLM

  • Strong CAD experiences in Creo, NX or Solidworks
