General Electric Project Coordinator in Ft Worth, Texas

Role Summary:

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing assigned project(s) according to scope of work, schedule and budget to fulfill a customer order or need according to financial/commercial parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Project Coordinator, you will:

  • Be responsible for project execution

  • Risk management

  • Monitor and report progress and critical issues

  • Manage variation orders

  • Organize work packages to support production requirements

  • Manage MRP material as needed

  • Manage schedules and observation/witness points

  • Manage MRB / final documentation

  • Be responsible for client communication and agreed reporting

  • Compliance with HSE Plan, Quality Plan and related requirements

  • Provide improvement work including Lessons Learnt sessions

  • Promote and ensure compliance to company and regulatory EHS requirements & expectations at all times

  • Promote and ensure compliance to company and regulatory Quality management systems at all times

  • Scan, file, archive and retrieve supplier certification for purchased products

  • Handle departmental filing, administration and archiving activities Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 4 years of experience in Services and/or Project coordination) Desired Characteristics:

  • PC Literate: Oracle, Word, Excel, Power Point, SAP, ePIMS, Primavera

  • Knowledge and experience within engineering, procurement, manufacturing, project planning, project management, risk management, EHS and/or QA

  • Knowledge of subsea production equipment
