General Electric Project Administrative Specialist Leader in Ft Worth, Texas

Job Description Summary

As a Project Administrative Specialist Leader you'll be responsible for managing risk and daily maintenance of Project Management Installation Projects for the entire USCAN Region. Heavily Supports the HPM Team and coordinates cross functionally with other GEHC Teams to streamline needed resolution toward successful project completion and customer satisfaction. Participate in development of process improvement/simplification, support development of a framework to offer further services to the PMI team and transition of those processes to the Project Administrator. Establish relevant metrics / service level agreement between the field-based PMI team and the Project Administrator.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate, coordinate, and track day-to-day activities required to ensure the project is completed on time, successfully, and in a manner consistent with organizational goals, departmental policies, and/or the standard terms and conditions of the contract.

  • Identify Improvement opportunities and establish proactive processes for fastest possible throughput.

  • Collaborate with HPM Team on project plans for assigned projects, which include clear milestones and assignment of project task responsibilities for Diagnostic Imaging & Life Care Solutions Project Manager Installation.

  • Complete 100% of USCAN Project Manager Installation Requests within 4-24 hours per task (Depending on category of task).

  • Support Project Manager Installation with Development and management of projects within timeframe and financial budget.

  • Communicate all the requirements and commitments (both verbally and in writing) for each project with GEHC staff, management, and the GEHC customer.

  • Maintain alignment between the project team and external resources including GEHC customers.

  • Attend all DPM region revenue calls and support Project Manager Installation with My Projects Plus updates & needed communication to other GEHC Teams.

  • Adopt a proactive approach to identify risks for date management & OTR related success.

  • Develop effective mitigation action for resolution as early as possible.

  • Maintain an accurate list of deliveries with an up to date priority list.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree with 1 year of administrative support, project management experience or experience in a technical field; or High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of administrative support, project management or related field.

  • Be aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills to achieve the most efficient needed results.

  • Proficient in soft skills that are necessary to be effective in problem solving and resolution, such as but not limited to organization skills, follow up, and detail orientated.

  • High skill level and experience in generating buy-in throughout cross-functional teams.

  • Candidate must be willing and able to work with computers including the following applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other proprietary software packages.

  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams.

  • Healthcare, medical, hospital or clinical environment experience.
