Role Summary:

The Learning Technology Leader is responsible for leading the curriculum pillar of the BHGE Virtual University Strategy, LMS and CMS. The role will be accountable for a team that is responsible for building/maintaining leadership and non-leadership programs, off-the-shelf vendor partnerships, as well as managing the online learning P&L responsible for catering to the online learning needs of the entire BHGE organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead BHGE employees, contractors,and vendors to deliver BHGE Crotonville’s virtual university curriculumstrategy as well as the standardization & enrichment of the online learningprograms across the company


  • In partnership with the broader BHGEleadership learning organization - identify relevant foundational skills, applythe right pedagogical & instructional methods to design, develop, anddeploy interventions

  • Accountable for designing andbuilding out the content offerings for the BHGE Virtual University


  • Play a pivotal role in defining theNew Product Introduction process with the business/region delivery andoperations team

  • Lead an internal design board thatlooks at all the BHGE offerings and identifies the best areas to innovate &go virtual


  • Make strategic decisions about what& how to build vs. what to buy Provide oversight to the online learningP&L

  • Resolve conflicts and break downbarriers for the team as it strives to standardize and establish a governanceprocess for online learning across the company

  • Manage a portfolio of projects,budgets, stakeholders, communications, and other day-to-day activities todeliver on the assigned outcomes

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in LD,Instructional Design, Organizational Psychology, Education, HR, or otherrelevant areas)


  • Minimum 5 years of relevantexperience in designing engaging, creative, and immersive learning solutions

  • Location flexible globally

Desired Characteristics:

  • InstructionalDesign experience, expertise or equivalent


  • PriorPeople Management Experience


  • Demonstratedexperience managing P&L budgets & financials


  • Understandingof tools such as WebEx Training Center, Articulate Presenter, Lectora, or otherequivalents as appropriate

  • Personalpresence, program knowledge and communication skills to work with businessleaders, and a broad range of training administration and delivery vendors


  • Provenability in service orientation and delivery excellence; demonstrates a strongpassion and headset for Client Service

  • Highlycreative problem solving skills, coupled with exceptional process and projectmanagement and execution skills

  • Able tohandle multiple priorities; initiate, lead and manage change


  • Provenability to work in a multi-cultural/global/matrixed environment

  • Strongdemonstrated writing, facilitation, and verbal communication skills,articulating complex ideas in an easy to understand manner to all levels of theorganization
Demonstrated leadership andteamwork skills; able to lead virtually

  • DeepInstructional Design and/or online learning experience
