Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for a HSE Compliance Manager in Houston, TX.
This role ensures the corporation’s processes and systems that yield compliance to legal and company standards and policies are effectively in place. The position reports into the HSE Performance Assurance Lead.
Assurance of Compliance - Identify key systems and processes that drive HSE compliance and monitor their effectiveness.
Identify gaps and drive closure
Continuous improvement – modify the process, including data systems, people, data analysis, competence across the organization
Build and manage an oversight methodology that monitors compliance processes and systems.
Upcoming Regulations – Responsible for identifying new and changing regulations and industry standards (e.g. IOGP) and develop new methods to embed the changes within the organization.
Bachelor’s degree in HSE, Engineering, Legal or equivalent discipline
8 years of related experience including 5 years in management
Experience in building / assessing system design, organizational design
Human & Organizational Performance experience
Demonstrated ability to work in a global matrix
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, team building and influencing skills
Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
