General Electric Business Development Associate in Ft Worth, Texas

Role Summary:

The primary focus of the Associate of Business Development is to support the execution of the global inorganic growth strategy for BHGE. In this role, you will support BHGE leaders to identify inorganic opportunity of growth and you will take the leadership in executing and supporting the different strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures.

Essential Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate has a mix of strategic sophistication, technical competency, and leadership presence. The position will report to the BD Leader for Oilfield Services.

In the role of Business Development Associate, you will:

  • Participate in inorganic strategy development process

  • Identify and select inorganic opportunity ( Target company analysis, market and industry analysis, evaluation of commercial strategy and operational execution feasibility)

  • Work with Regions and Product companies in building and executing on a deal pipeline

  • Evaluate and structure deals including developing financial and commercial models

  • Support cross function teams in the origination and execution of mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, alliances, joint ventures and dispositions

  • Close relationship with BHGE Global operations Oilfield Service Leadership team and the Business Development team

  • Team player and ability to work in a cross-functional environment

  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills coupled with a solid finance background

  • Possess excellent presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Great influencing and negotiating skills Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mergers and acquisition activities with an emphasis on final stage deal experience (participated in sell or buy side process) Desired Characteristics:
