General Electric Probe repair manufacturing engineer (m/f) in Freiburg, Germany
Responsibilities include providing support associated with safety, manufacturing and quality methods, tooling, and equipment. Initiate new processes and methods that will improve safety, reduce product cost and/or improve product quality. Performing high quality Probe repairs.
Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production
Supporting Inspection and Repair Teams in the Unisyn Repair Center Freiburg to resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, and equipment
Actively participate in new repair developments/qualifications through process layout, tool development, and new equipment
Driving LEAN manufacturing implementation in all Areas of the Unisyn Repair Center Freiburg
Performing all locally qualified repairs on Customer owned Ultrasound Probes
University Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related technical degree, or an Associates Degree and some experience in production
Good team worker in international teams
Good analytical and planning skills
M.S. Degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent knowledge or experience
Demonstrated ability to identify & implement best practices
Demonstrated ability to perform with high levels of ambiguity
Proven experience in Ultrasound
