The Lead Manufacturing Specialist - Projects and Initiatives leads the progress of multiple supply chain initiatives against key 'Y's across the various Power P&Ls to provide a robust, horizontal view of Power Supply Chain.
As the Lead Manufacturing Specialist - Projects and Initiatives, you will:
Support the operational excellence for Power Supply Chain
Develop the horizontal view for various metrics tracked across Power P&Ls, including efforts around Product Cost out, Footprint optimization and Joint Venture landscape
Develop and implement a robust operating mechanism with businesses across Power and ensure fulfillment of timely support needed
Support senior SC leadership in charting progress against key metrics and own report outs based on the established rhythm
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing / operations)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in projects and initiatives
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proven analytical and organizational ability
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
