Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine the company's overall strategic vision and long-term goals.
Conduct in-depth research and analysis of industry trends, competitive landscape, and macroeconomic factors to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
Assist in formulating actionable strategies to drive revenue growth, optimize operations, and enhance the company's market position.
Monitor the implementation of strategic initiatives, track performance metrics, and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
Adjacency Market Analysis:
Identify and evaluate potential new markets or business segments that align with the company's core competencies and growth objectives.
Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to assess the feasibility and attractiveness of expanding into adjacent markets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop market entry strategies and go-to-market plans for new business opportunities.
Acquisition Analysis:
Conduct detailed analysis and due diligence on potential acquisition targets to assess their strategic fit, financial health, and growth potential.
Create financial models and valuation assessments to support investment decisions and negotiation strategies.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to the executive team.
Performance Tracking and Forecasting:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and market trends to assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and adjust plans accordingly.
Work closely with finance and operations teams to develop financial forecasts and scenario analyses to aid strategic decision-making.
Continuously analyze industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging trends to proactively identify new opportunities or challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus with at least 6 years experience in Product Management or Strategy functions.
Desired Characteristics
Proven experience in strategic planning, market analysis, and/or merger and acquisition activities, ideally in the Industrial Software market.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
Excellent research abilities with the capability to gather, synthesize, and interpret complex data from various sources.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
Ability to think critically, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
High level of adaptability, creativity, and problem-solving skills to tackle business challenges and seize opportunities.

THE ENERGY TO CHANGE THE WORLD
The salary range for this position is 173,600.00 - 217,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for [a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity].
