Job Description Summary
The Process Engineer is recognized as a key manufacturing technology leader within the organization. Participate in early focus on manufacturability in New Product Introductions and/or Advanced Technology programs, driving rigor in process capability assessment, process layout, tooling and equipment development, and Quality Management System Design Transfer execution.
Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing advanced manufacturing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production.
Work with manufacturing leadership to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design.
Monitor and improve productivity using Lean Six Sigma or related tools, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner.
Ensure regulatory compliance through process Qualification and Validation, ensuring rigor in determining processes requiring validation, development of qualification and validation plans, and analysis of plan results.
Help execute continuous simplification of QMS methods and their applications by working with cross-functional teams including Operations and Quality Assurance.
Drive LEAN manufacturing implementation.
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related technical degree. and 3 years experience or Associates Degree and 5 years experience or High School diploma with 7 years of experience in production, engineering or troubleshooting of PC/server based system
Familiar with quality assurance and testing methods.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross -functional teams.
MS in technical concentration/field.
6-sigma DMAIC DFSS certified.
Experience in Process Intensive manufacturing.
Product and Process Development experience.
Solid working knowledge of GEHC Quality Management Systems procedures for Good Manufacturing Practices.
Experience working with global teams.
