Job Description Summary

The Order Fulfillment Leader is a critical role that operates as part of a team with ownership of fulfillment and inventory. This role requires influencing and cross-functional collaboration in the plant as well as with customer-facing teams. The role is responsible for the management of demand orders, manufacturing planning, shipment, warehousing, consolidation, and transportation of finished product to meet customer orders.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own and drive process improvement projects in the fulfillment operation, including the identification of process improvement opportunities, root causing misses, strategic change recommendations, planning, and project execution.

  • Drive On Time Delivery (OTD) to Distribution and/or the Customer site.

  • A job at this level requires a people leader with ability to hire and develop talent. Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).

  • 3 yeas of experience working in logistics, materials management, warehousing and distribution, or supply chain management.

Desired Characteristics

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Materials, or Logistics.

  • Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) graduate.

  • MBA or Masters Degree

  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma
