Recognized as a developing lean expert, influences at the manager level on lean transformation projects and standards for their defined area of responsibility, and partners with area leaders to develop operational improvement plans quarterly to achieve the site vision and objectives. Lead cross-functional projects to drive standardization, stability, and simplification.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Supporting multiple value streams, serving as a recognized expert and resource leader for focus areas, process rigor, and delivering significant simplification results.

Provide overall Lean leadership and coaching; partner with site leadership to develop lean strategy & priorities; own lean framework reporting to Lean COE.

Train and teach all employees in the organization the culture of continuous improvement

Initiating sustainable process improvements to exceed customer expectations while using lean strategies to drive continuous process improvement

Develop schedule and facilitate kaizen, value stream mapping sessions and activities to achieve business results

Drives consistent Lean Transformation standards and is a model for teaching & applying the GE Lean Operating System

Qualifications

Bachelors degree and minimum of 2 years of progressive work experience in manufacturing environment or High school diploma/GED and 7 years work experience

Demonstrated experience of leading Lean Manufacturing programs / Kaizen events

Proven experience in influencing, leading teams and driving change

Experience in data analysis to drive process improvement using tools such as Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Oracle / SAP, or other manufacturing systems.
