General Electric Lead AME Test Engineer in Florence, South Carolina

Job Description Summary

Activities contributing to the design and development test solutions and systems. Include activities linked to technical improvement of existing test solutions and system. Responsible for execution of test system and solution design, qualification and data acquisition for using in the design and validation of products and services.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design and construction of test facilities, instrumentation systems and development of test software.

  • Works on cross functional teams.

  • Leads test data analytical and brilliant factory activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.

  • Leads to define DFT and wing to wing test strategy for production testing process

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in an Engineering related degree and 4 years of industrial experience in a manufacturing and test sensitive environment.

  • Demonstrated experience with tester development and test specification setting.

  • Demonstrated depth of LabVIEW programming skill

Desired Characteristics:

  • BS/MS in technical concentration/field 5+ years industrial

  • Experience in a manufacturing and test-sensitive environment.

  • Demonstrated at least one of the following programming skills: Python, C#, C++ Experienced in development with Unix/Linux system

  • Experienced in development with data science, image processing, machine learning, AR…

  • Experienced in development with NI PXI test platform

  • Experienced in development with Ethernet, CAN bus, Modbus communication protocol

  • Demonstrated basic Electronic, DFT and Automation solution design skills

  • Strong depth of knowledge in six sigma techniques for capability analysis, trending/control and MSA/GRR.

  • Combined product and process knowledge for healthcare product

  • Demonstrated program or project management skills Experienced working with global teams Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Experienced developing tools and templates, and writing standards

  • Experienced developing new work practices and driving change and influencing behavior of large teams.

  • Highly self-motivated and willing to travel

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
