Job Description Summary
GE Healthcare in Florence is in need of a new Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to lead the manufacturing side of design transfer from Engineering. In this role you'll be recognized as a key manufacturing technology leader as you work with your team locally and with your counterparts globally.

Lead scheduling, materials set-up and procurement, costing and documentation to prepare for introducing new products and executing NPI/Transfer activities and ensuring that the supply chain is ready to launch a product at the right quality and capacity
Act as the main interface on program core team to own the Integrated Supply Chain Milestone and ensure design maturity before handing off to remote site or manufacturing
Establish material flow for pitching and receiving and provide information to catching site on site requirements, HVAC, Material flow, testing, ATE etc.
Facilitate training for catcher site
Monitor and improve productivity through the use of Lean Six Sigma or related tools, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner
Bachelor’s Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline or Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project leadership within a manufacturing, development, technical industry or research environment
Demonstrated execution at meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget CTQ’s
Demonstrated engineering knowledge, program management, and business planning processes, having experience with the full product lifecycle including supply chain and manufacturing.
Exposure and Use of Lean Methodologies, 6-sigma DMAIC & DFSS certified
Experiences in Process Intensive manufacturing
Solid working knowledge of procedures for GMP
Demonstrated experience owning production processes / growing capability in yield and quality
Experience working with global teams
