Job Description Summary

The Aero JV Program Manager is the ultimate authority on the NPI programs execution.

Leads design, execution and spending to meet Stakeholders expectations as well as Product/Service Requirements prescriptions on time and on budget, owning full lifecycle performance, cost, quality, and schedule, being supported by all required business functions through their representatives within the Integrated Project Team.

Also, as a part of the incumbent responsibility, also (s)he shall also support team operations securing the implementation of the Program Management Team processes, tools and practices to ensure the team operational efficiency, and shall actively seek for opportunities on processes, procedures, tools and practices to enhance the flow and the management of information within the team, across the company, with the stakeholders and the suppliers.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

As a PM, the incumbent is responsible:

  • for product/service industrialization, driving its integration within Aero JV and Partner Channels processes (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Service, Quality), for IP protection, for compliance with Export Control regulations;

  • supported by the Systems Engineer / Technical Leader, to define the Integrated Project Team structure and staffing needed to match the Integrated Master Plan resource requirements;

  • to identify and monitor program risks and opportunities; to ensure the required resources to meet project safety and security; to define and maintain project communications within the team and towards the stakeholders; to issue the WBS, the IMP and the IMS, to maintain project KPIs;

  • to define and maintains regular operating rhythms with program teams, programs’ stakeholders and Senior Leadership.

In addition, the incumbent is responsible:

  • to maintain constant communication across all Technology Development stakeholders, assuring quality and timely update of the data they are provided or they have access to;

  • within the Technology Development lifecycle, to oversee operational systems, procedures and infrastructure, monitoring QMS processes and best practices application while looking for opportunities of improvement and identifying any revision or updates needed to keep them compliant;

  • to manage timely Technology Development Programs execution data and KPIs collection, provide the Program Management Team Leader with timely reports and risk analyses, monthly feed the KPI bowler with the team operational metrics;

  • to work with the Technology Development teams suppliers to ensure the invoices back-up material is timely delivered;

  • to work with Finance representative, Technology Development Platform Leaders and Program Managers to ensure invoices are timely checked, and received or rejected as the case;

  • when need, to directly raise Purchase Order Requests and manage invoices receiving;

  • to Support the PM Team Leader in the development or the update, as well as in the deployment, of QMS Processes, procedures, best practices and infrastructures adopted within the Technology Development lifecycle, partnering with cross-functional teams when necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (STEM or economics)

  • Minimum of 7 years Management of multi-year, multi-skills projects

  • 2+ years proven experience in an operations management position

  • Demonstrated working experience in the following disciplines:

  • Negotiation

  • Planning

  • Risk management

  • Time management

  • Budgeting and cost control
