General Electric Sales Operations Short Term Leader in Florence, Italy

Role Summary:

You will act as the key focal point for all Sourcing activities related to Sales, on time delivery and Inventory performance. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in short-term planning, and contribute to the overall financial targets.

Essential Responsibilities:

This role requires expertise and focus in problems solving, develop short-term and long-term improvement processes and accountability to achieve business company objectives.

The SOU Sales Operation Short Terms Leader for Auxiliary Systems will:

  • Partner with TMS and DTS P&Ls to ensure Sales and CM plan across each quarter, OTD vs CWD and Inventory optimization;

  • Partner with other Sourcing Execution teams to drive operational excellence;

  • Conduct/attend weekly Production Meetings to maintain focus of the entire Fulfillment team along the quarters;

  • Manage Sales Plan in close cooperation with BOP/MSD Material Manager;

  • Assist Quality Team in ensuring delivery and quality standards;

  • Feedback Execution and Commodity teams on critical areas;

  • Cooperate with Finance and PMs to guarantee controllership;

  • Lead specific fulfillment tasks with critical Suppliers and Commodities with accountability;

  • Drive execution team compliance and reputational requirements;

  • Act with sense of urgency aligned with business priorities (Quarter end, Customers vessels)

  • Contribute to define and coordinate process improvements Internal/External

  • Collaborate with the extended organization Logistic, Quality, Sourcing Material Management and Sourcing Operations to get the needed support for the specific task. Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Logistic, Sourcing, Planning and Supply Chain.

  • High-energy, self-motivated, willing to take on responsibilities.

  • Teamwork attitude.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Influence/communication - proven ability to drive changes across organization

  • Basic knowledge of Manufacturing planning and processes.

  • EU work permit Desired Characteristics:

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Preferred sound knowledge of O&G products and their production process/methods.
