Within the Turbomachinery & Process Solutions (TPS) Europe Sales Team, the Service Sales Manager will lead & manage the Business Strategy and Orders Intake with the End Users accounts, allocated into the assigned Area of Germany and Switzerland. He/She will be accountable for the assigned Operating Plan (Orders, As sold CM and Convertible Orders).
In addition, He/She will:
Be responsible for Orders intake, driving and implementing sales strategy for the End Users accounts in the assigned sales area.
Develop knowledge of market trends, customer requirements, competitor actions, and customer base for TPS products and related Services (Transactional and Long Terms Service Agreement LTSA).
Develop End User intimacy and relationships to expand Services Business in the assigned Area.
Provide Team leadership, driving accountability and efficiency amongst the commercial and sales support teams.
Provide deal leadership through the formulation and execution of proposal strategies that capitalize on GE's competitive strengths to serve the customer's needs resulting in execution of definitive sales agreements.
Work with the extended BHGE Teams and Sales, allocated in each Country of the Sub Region (Central&North EU), to identify opportunities and drive volume growth in all segments of application (i.e. Refinery & Petrochemical, Industrial Power Generation, Pipelines, On Shore Off Shore, LNG).
Be able to build long-term strategic relationships at all levels of customer organizations, including C-level and within BHGE.
Contribute to defining and implementing marketing and commercial strategies to increase orders volume and profitability.
Leverage cross-functional and cross business resources to maximize market penetration.
Work with Marketing and TPS verticals to develop strategies and services for business growth.
Understand the landscape and market dynamics. Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree of Science in Engineer in from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge and experience
Strong experience in a Sales function associated with TPS (Rotating Equipment) products
Strong experience in Sales Origination
Knowledge of TPS Service products
EU Work Permit
Fluency in English and German language (Mandatory), Italian (Optionally) Desired Characteristics:
Oil & Gas (Refinery&Petrochemical, Upstream, Offshore) customer base and market experience
Excellent negotiation skills
Ability to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
