Role Summary:

You will collaborate with product managers to ensure strategic product direction is followed by conveying strategy to the product development or change management team. You will communicate clear & descriptive requirements and partner with the development team to deliver products that balance the desire for new features with defects & technical debt. Your priority is to ensure the product meets stakeholder requirements, retains functional/technical integrity & is appropriately scalable.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with cross-functional (design, build, test, process) teams to deliver features and products

  • Provide input to the short-term product roadmap and product design

  • Work with product owners to understand data needs and align needs with overall data strategy

  • Participate in customer and stakeholder interviews to align product design with roles (personas)

  • Assist product managers to groom the product backlog; ensuring that an agreed amount of scope is always ready to move forward and identifying if this is not the case

  • Engage frequently with or be an integral member of the product development team; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, drive feature refinement, conduct testing and validation

  • Understand and follow the proscribed governance process and development methodology for product development

  • Partner with project management product owner to drive outcomes in the project management space

  • Translate customer requests into actionable user stories and work units through problem decomposition and planning

  • Show increasing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product

  • Stay current with market trends, enabling technologies, and business digital strategy

  • Can break down problems and estimate time for development tasks.

  • Awareness of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.

  • Understands core data structures and algorithms and can implement them using language of choice. Is eager to pair and learn.

  • Is open to receiving guidance and direction; asks questions and communicate challenges. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

  • A minimum of 1 year professional experience in ITAdditional Eligibility Requirement
