General Electric Team Leader - Fluid/Fuel Systems in Evendale, Ohio

Job Description Summary

The Product Team Leader will report to the Evendale Fluid Systems Manager and be responsible for team guidance and leadership in the areas of design, execution, and certification within the fuel systems. The projects supported in this role are directly tied to sustainable aviation efforts.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

As the Team Leader within the Fluid Systems organization, you will:

  • Manage a team of engineers responsible for multiple in-service and New Product Introduction engines

  • Accountable for day-to-day operation of multiple programs and projects across multiple engine lines. This includes conflict resolution, schedule definition, engineering support, and integration with GE partners in a joint venture.

  • Provide team leadership and guidance in all areas from initial hardware concept through component certification and field service.

  • Drive supplier-designed efforts including both technical and programmatic aspects

  • Actively lead and participate in internal and supplier design reviews.

  • Complete necessary analysis and evaluation of proposed designs for assigned projects adhering to business standards and design guidelines.

  • Lead a cross-functional team of design engineering, quality engineering, supply chain, and program leadership to ensure the components and system meets the application needs.

  • Present design details and philosophy to internal and external customers

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with 6 years' experience in disciplinary engineering and science).

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in disciplinary engineering and science
