General Electric Staff Technical Product Manager in Evendale, Ohio
This role will be responsible for developing and/or implementing software applications for the Engine Test Systems product category. You will work with engineering community to modernize tools used to manage the Aviation Test Process (ATP). This includes a broad set of functionality spanning planning, requirements management, engine instrumentation design, manufacturing, materials management, test cell configurations, and integrations with data acquisition systems and other ETS products.
Work with Product Owner to refine detailed requirements & set the product vision
Be responsible for providing technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment
Translate requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards
Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse
Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities
Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products
Communicate effectively both within immediate team and across leadership teams
Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge
Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness
Will challenge the status quo and advocate for Digital Transformation
Desire and ability to roll up sleeves and dig into technical aspects of the products Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 5 years of experience in ITEligibility Requirement
