General Electric Sr Staff Technical Product Manager - Applications Leader- RPCA in Evendale, Ohio

Role Summary:The Sr. Staff TPM- Apps Leader will provide technical product management in the areas of Oracle ERP, MES, and Applications Lifecycle Management to establish factory of the future/IOTT strategies for the RPCA value stream. This leader will be responsible for the Agile Development in the end-to-end solution design/delivery of key standard applications and will manage the design think/prototyping (Shadow IT) process for site-based requirements and applications to move them towards such standards.

Essential Responsibilities:As an Application Analyst, you will provide product management expertise building solutions to meet the needs of the GE Aviation RPCA manufacturing environment in executing the Supply Chain strategy and by assisting in creating digital thread solutions. Additionally you will:

  • Build application and product expertise across the Manufacturing Suite of solutions from GE Digital (e.g. Oracle ERP, One MES, Spotfire, etc.)

  • Create functional designs, road maps, and implement applications that meet the needs of the business and enhance the factory of the future landscape.

  • Identify and understand RPCA Site’s requirements working with value stream, manufacturing and the Digital Technology leaders and architects.

  • Lead and manage site application engineers and Digital Technology project teams in delivering value-added tools to the sites and continuously improve processes to positively impact the velocity of change.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Product Management

Desired Characteristics:

  • Proven track record of successful application delivery and product management.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MES implementations (Oracle, OneMES, SAP, etc.) as well as familiarity with some emerging data analytics tools such as, Spotfire.

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills (including formal documentation) as well as strong collaboration skills.

  • Documentation must resonate with appropriate audience.

  • Strong in the use of Web/Cloud based technologies and Plant based tools. (AWS, Scheduling, SPC, Planning, Machine Utilization, etc.).

  • Expertise in SQL. and Experience with RDBMS and SQL Server.

  • Small Systems and data requirements and implementation experience in a manufacturing realm preferred.

  • Knowledge of design, build and test phases of Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) /methodologies.

  • Agile knowledge preferred.
