Job Description Summary

Sr. Product Manager role that supports the development of the product offerings for the business, helps lead projects and programs within the organization to align with Safety, Quality, Delivery, & Cost objectives and business priorities.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Helps influence strategy within the product area to meet business & customer needs.

  • Works with cross-functional teams to ensure achievement of operational and financial metrics and a high say-do ratio, including on time delivery, productivity, quality, compliance, safety, and cost.

  • Strengthen shared ownership for delivery and Voice of the Customer across Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, etc.

  • Responsible for leading small-to-medium size complex projects based on having specialized knowledge within the product management function.

  • Develops & integrates standard work & processes in order to meet the defined business needs. Leverages lean practices, standard processes, technical experience, product knowledge, and sound judgement to lead problem solving efforts.

  • Develop and foster strong relationships with internal & external team. Promotes a diverse & inclusive culture. Uses interpersonal, communication, & influencing skills to help achieve desired outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience in product management).

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in product, program, or operations management.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Desired Characteristics

  • Master's degree.

  • Prior experience working in the Aviation Industry

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

  • Prior experience establishing relationships with Customers and Suppliers.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  • Established project management skills.
