General Electric Sourcing Process Leader in Evendale, Ohio
Role Summary:The Sourcing Process Leader will drive delivery and process improvements across the Sourcing organization through development and adoption of standardized performance metrics and work instructions. You will lead the establishment of new processes to improve sourcing delivery in a fast-paced environment, along with operationalizing and maintaining sourcing and supplier performance metrics, with responsibility for weekly analytics of performance data.
Key responsibilities include:
Collaborate with Process Excellence team and delivery functions to build usable standard processes to support standard work categories
Utilize digital tools and collaborate with Aviation Operating System and Digital Teams on driving automated solutions for metrics and visualizations
Collaborate with Aviation Operation System Team to extend capability of sourcing delivery and program / customer impact views and align with key business deliverables
Specify requirements and communicate project plans to enable digital teams to execute on Sourcing requests and vision
Standardize sourcing performance data across the organization and support the coordination of commodity solutions while enabling the flexibility of individual commodities
Support the leader standard work for the Supplier Performance Manager (SPM) and Supplier Fulfillment Leader (SFL) functions by ensuring metrics and data are aligned to drive actionable insights
Manage SPM and SFL Confluence environments to strengthen standardization and collaboration across Sourcing commodities
Support and drive Tier 2 Material Process Improvements and collaborate on building data analytics to hone in on root case and corrective actions
Champion new efforts and work together with Sourcing leadership to help drive organizational change
Be a change agent for new processes by utilizing feedback loops and understanding pain points to provide better processes and data solutions
Continuously improve performance measurements and evolve them along with business needs
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Sourcing)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, shop operations, manufacturing, production control, data analytics and / or supplier management
Sourcing / Materials experience preferred
Ability to drive results and change through collaboration and relationship management
Proven analytical and organizational ability
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Demonstrated data analytic and visualization skills
