Job Description Summary
The Sourcing Comm Ops Product Line Leader will partner with the Product Line teams to build long term strategy around critical hardware as well as manage the Deal Review pipeline for their respective teams. This role will drive collaboration between Sourcing Commodities, Product Lines, and Engineering teams to find optimal sourcing solutions that deliver on the business’ safety, quality, delivery, and cost priorities.
This role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Establish daily management rhythms, standard work, and processes for a cross-functional team of Product Line and Engineering focals focused on sourcing outcomes.
Provide visibility to upcoming contract expirations on hardware within the product lines and work proactively with the teams to determine the optimal go-forward strategy on that hardware.
Identify the critical hardware for a given product line by evaluating the total cost impact of safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Work to build a strategic sourcing roadmap to mitigate SQDC risks.
Understand the sourcing/supplier landscape and leverage that knowledge into product line sourcing strategy.
Actively participate in Sourcing Commercial Deal Reviews and ensure compliance to the 650.10 process.
Partner with engineering teams to create should costs on critical hardware. Understand our market position relative to should cost and create plans to drive cost reduction and abate cost increases on sourced hardware.
Utilize the LTA Gameboard tool within the Product Lines and drive continuous improvement to the tools and process.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with 5 years of supply chain and/or commercial experience)
Minimum 5 years of supply chain and/or commercial experience
