Job Description Summary
Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer will maintain existing Teamcenter Manufacturing product and develop new functionality as the business drives towards Model Based Manufacturing. You will be the functional and technical expert for Teamcenter Manufacturing. Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes on behalf of GE Aviation internal Supply Chain shops. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect tactical and strategic business goals.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Build next generation Manufacturing PLM strategy
Align GEA Manufacturing with Siemens PLM roadmap
Work on the integration of Siemens PLM and OneMES
Coordinate Shop Floor Connect integration
Drive standardization for all internal Supply Chain shops
Work with Siemens PLM to drive customer (GE Aviation) expectations
Work with internal sites to share expertise to drive Supply Chain efficiency
Work in a highly collaborative environment
Facilitate interaction of internal team as well as external organizations
Develop and execute technology roadmap for your area of expertise in collaboration with other team members
Interface with external organizations and supporting functions across a global team
Specify needs, communicate about project approach, and present outcomes of research
Serves as best practice/quality resource
Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.
Utilizes technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
A minimum of 5 years experience in Manufacturing or Project Management
A minimum of 8 years experience in PLM/Teamcenter
US Citizen or Green Card Holder
