General Electric Senior Integrated Master Scheduler (IMS) - Engineering in Evendale, Ohio

Job Description Summary

Hybrid work environment - 3 day in 2 days WFH

The integrated master scheduler is responsible for scheduling compliance, development, reporting, analysis, and risk assessment activities supporting commercial engineering programs. You will support the Program Management Office (PMO) in developing and implementing scheduling best practices and standard work templates to enhance efficiencies in program execution across all commercial engineering programs. Additionally, you will be required to understand the clients, industry, and market to support future contract proposals and replans.

Job Description

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a compliant integrated master schedule for commercial engineering programs.

• Work with a cross functional team to execute recurring monthly status.

• Work directly with EVM Finance team to meet all EVM change requests, monthly deadlines, and reporting requirements.

• Interface with PMO during audits and program reviews.

• Support IMS leader to execute schedule reporting, metrics, variance analysis, and risk assessment.

• Critical path management through scheduling digital tools.

• Help develop and implement IMS best practices and processes to improve efficiency.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University (or high school diploma/GED with 6 years' experience in project operations and programs).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project/program management, specifically scheduling.

Desired Characteristics:

• Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification

• Experience with critical path management tools

• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

• Proven experience leading broad cross-functional teams

• Analytical and energetic nature, driven desire for efficient process control

• Takes initiative and is motivated to learn and teach

• Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects / initiatives

• Effective problem identification and solution skills

Hybrid work environment - 3 day in 2 days WFH
