General Electric Senior Indirect Cost Out Specialist in Evendale, Ohio

Role Summary:

In this role, the Senior Indirect Cost Out Specialist will directly support the strategic imperatives of the Cost pillar within the Digital League, a horizontal agile team focused on driving solutions for cross functional cost challenges across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Be the champion of $1.2B Indirect Cost Out efforts across GE Aviation. Develop key strategies and execution plans.

  • Lead AWOs across Supply Chain Value Streams and global shops to generate projects ideas and push for implementation. Engage them in implementation of these projects with six sigma rigor and robust control plans.

  • Collaborate extensively with Indirect Sourcing to help drive deflation and supplier change management

  • Lead monthly meetings with Integrators to drive usage reduction at sites and alternate tools & supplies alternatives that result in lower costs

  • Lead design & development of digital solutions that makes it easier for shops to monitor their indirect costs and identify cost out opportunities. Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Product Cost. Desired Characteristics:

  • Six sigma and/or lean experience

  • Experience working on complex cost solutions

  • Experience in managing and/or Influencing skills for teams / individuals either within and/or not within own reporting structure & delivering results

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
