General Electric Lead Planning and Analytics Specialist- GE Aviation in Evendale, Ohio

Role Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for strategic workforce planning (SWP) for the Aviation business. In addition to supporting SWP, you will provide analytics and consulting support to the Talent Acquisition function. Viewed as a functional Subject Matter Expert in SWP and Analytics, you will help drive standardization of tools and processes to support workforce planning and analytics.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Elevate GE Aviation’s workforce planning through data and analytics by standardizing tools and processes leveraging industry best practices

  • Analyze workforce data (internally and externally) to forecast future talent needs (capacity and capability)

  • Collaborate and consult with senior leadership and the broader HR team to create a clear picture of GE Aviation’s workforce planning opportunities

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership team to support forecast projections and identification of opportunities within the function

  • Prepare easy to use presentations leveraging digital data visualization applications (Spotfire, Tableau, etc)

  • Strategic thinker with consideration for sustainability and implementation

  • Ability to connect many different data sources and provide clear, concise insights to Sr. Leadership

  • Build strong internal customer relationships with key HR and business leaders to develop strategies to address organizational needs

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Human Resources, Statistics or related field) from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations or related field)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Analytics, HR Generalist / Specialist or related field(s)

Desired Characteristics:

  • Eye for detail, confidence to challenge and ask questions

  • Can-do attitude with a strong sense of accountability as well as interdependence

  • Ability to work under broad or limited supervision

  • Strong mathematics and statistics background, specifically in strategic workforce planning

  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project & Visio)
