Job Description Summary
GE Aviation is seeking a Fluid Systems Lead Engineer to work on our Military Controls Team in Cincinnati, OH. The Engineer will support control/fluid System design, analysis, test and system integration as part of a cross-functional design team in the development and qualification of military jet engines. The ideal candidate has expertise in mechanical design, requirements development, and fluid system design and is able to use the engineering process to solve technical problems that impact business goals.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Execute the analysis, design, test, or integration required to define and support assigned components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and program / product requirements
Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers
Document and communicate results of technical data generated
Lead teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives
Share engineering information and promote open dialogue
Prepare invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the business
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university
3 years of experience in an engineering role
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
