Job Description Summary

The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the management of New Product Introduction (NPI) support equipment (SE) projects. This role will work with internal, government and industry cross-functional teams to analyze and interpret large military engine support equipment requirements. The ILS PM will perform multiple functions including but not limited to; SE design & acquisition, logistical product data collection, SE validation/verification and assist with the development of SE technical publications.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop a standardized approach to support equipment introduction and initial sustainment

  • Collaborate with the DoD and industry partners on SE deliverables

  • Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May manage small projects with low risks and resource requirements.

  • Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

  • Daily Management for budget management and reporting

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

  • Bachelor of Science from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with 6 years' experience in ILS project management)

  • A minimum 2 years' experience on support equipment used with GE military engines.

  • A minimum 3 years' experience in an engineering capacity

This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
