General Electric HR Business Partner - Component Repair in Evendale, Ohio
Job Description Summary
The HR business partner for the Component Repair organization in the GE Aviation Services business provies HR support for client group leaders, managers and employees on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, HR process expertise and other general HR activities.

Essential Responsibilities:
Provides HR leadership across 4 GE repair facilities, 2 JVs and approximately 2,600 employees
Key sites include: ACSC/Cincinnati (OH), McAllen (TX), 2 global sites in Hungary and Singapore, and 2 JVs (NY & FL)
Lead an HR organization of 10 employees, in support of business and HR priorities, with a strong focus on plant operations, culture transformation, talent development and succession management and strategic workforce planning
Provide leadership and expertise for the full scope of human resources including all aspects of employee relations, talent and organization vitality, diversity and inclusion actions, succession planning, organization design, culture and employee engagement
Work closely with the organization and broader services leadership team to understand industry and market dynamics, and design and execute HR strategies and activities aligned with business priorities
Engage in leader coaching at multiple levels of the organization
Lead critical HR activities such as inclusion and diversity, recruitment and selection, people/data analytics, strategic workforce planning, talent development, career navigation, performance development, and organization optimization
Provide support for compensation, benefits, training, EEO, compliance and other HR activities as needed
Lead and facilitate change strategies and activities to drive a contemporary business and culture
Lead and / or support Aviation or GE-wide HR initiatives as appropriate
Serve as a coach and mentor within the broader HR community to support talent development and critical performance development activities within the HR function
May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Presents business solutions to leaders in functional area
Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view
Qualifications/ Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
A minimum of 8 years of experience in a variety of Human resource positions, both client and specialist base

Strong Employee Relations experience in a Manufacturing Environment
Prior HR experience within a P&L or Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO)
Established project management skills and capable of handling multiple issues and/or projects simultaneously by documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs to completion
Excellent collaboration, influencing, project management, organizational and change agent skills
Strong internal and external customer service focus, with a genuine desire to assist others
Deep breadth and depth of expertise in HR, providing professional or thought leadership to business partners and teams
Influences policy and ensures delivery within own function, linking with other functions of the organization
Passion for innovative HR solutions, process improvement
Global HR experience preferred; understanding and work with local labor laws and government requirements
PHR/SPHR certification
Master’s degree in human resources, labor relations or business administration from an accredited college or university
