Role Summary:

Pricing Government-Unique Goods and Services is a Labor-Intensive Process that requires contractors to disclose all facts including costs to assist the Government in negotiating fair and reasonable prices. This process results in a proposal that exceed 10,000 pages of cost details. Brilliant Pricing is built on the idea that powerful data analytics will soon render the legacy cost build up process and digitalize the process with machine learning and data analytics.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work on a highly visible MSO Digital Project to operationalize and transform the Government Proposal Process

  • Develop expertise in MSO business; Significant customer engagement with US Air Force, Navy, Army and local DCMA / DCAA

  • Horizontal engagement across the GE Supply Chain and finance to identify key cost-drivers on current blind spots

  • Work cross-functionally with DSS, DT, Projects, Contracts & Finance to execute project goals

  • Design fast, simple experiments to validate assumptions to internal and external customers; Iterates and applies fast works everyday

  • Review data model inputs from core business systems for model developments

  • Analyze neural net outputs in a business context to convey information on important assumptions / factors into the model

  • Apply Project Management disciplines such as quality, risk, resource, and change management while being accountable for meeting the time, cost, and scope of the project

  • Communicate the plan, roles, constraints, milestones, and critical path to all team members and project stakeholders

  • Translate customer's business needs to forecast rates into Brilliant Pricing requirements

  • Roadmap solution against technology functionality

  • Ensure various operational elements that affect financial and resource forecasts are on track


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, software or systems engineering, or another technology-related field from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, data and analytics, business analysis review, documentation, and/or process improvements
