General Electric Facility Management Specialist – Project Management in Evendale, Ohio
Job Description Summary
The Facility Management Specialist will manage office space planning from individual relocations to large group moves. You will coordinate all small office project requests with furniture and labor coordination.
You will recommend changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency by exploiting traditional manufacturing processes and seeking out innovative technology to make the facility more competitive. GE Aviation Evendale is a Union site.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Ensure that manufacturing premises are fully operational, maintained, and clean
• Utilize facilities expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals
• Act as a leader on specific tasks that require a broad facilities, mechanical and project management experience base
• Identify plans to ensure technical requirements, costs, and schedules are met
• Interface with external organizations and supporting functions, and direct / coordinate the efforts of project team members in order to accomplish overall goals
• Manage external vendor relationships and contracts
• Follow work to ensure compliance to specifications and site safety policies are followed
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with a minimum of 4 years experience in facilities or industrial project management).
• A minimum of 3 years experience in facilities, project management or engineering
