The Chief Product Owner - Director -Technical Program Management will be a cross program leader for all GE Edison Works secure programs. As a member of the EW DT senior leadership team, they will be responsible to understand the customer needs and become the customer champion by managing the relation of numerous executive stakeholders. Partnering with direct and indirect team to define, prioritize and deliver scalable solutions for our secure programs. These solutions vary program to program but our full stack solutions that may include networking, compute, backup, productivity tools, and engineering and supply chain applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • •Drive technology discussion and strategy in line with business needs and company reference architecture •• Outline multi-generational project strategy aligned to deliver on the expected outcomes •• Define robust processes for requirements interpretation, intake, validation, prioritization, and backlogging •• Collaborate with business and functional partners across GE businesses and technology leadership in defining technical requirements for Collateral environments •• Define execution methodologies and project management practices to be followed by all projects within the program •• Organize project teams comprising from internal and external technical and functional experts based on budget, scope and timeline •• Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project , and stakeholder progress reporting at various levels of the organization including leadership and executives •• Manage day-to-day execution of multiple interdependent projects by working directly with cross functional team and/or performing hands on technical execution when needed

Required Qualifications

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Digital Technology & Technical Product Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

  • For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

Desired Characteristics

  • Qualifications/Requirements:

  • • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Engineering plus a minimum 8 years of IT professional experience • Experience owning a full stack on premise technology solution (e.g. networking, firewalls, compute, and application) • Able to hold and maintain active US DOD "Secret" Security Clearance ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: • This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens.
